Russia: growers from Krasnodar Krai start raspberry harvesting campaign
Growers from Krasnodar Krai, Russia, have started raspberry harvesting campaign this week, according to Fruit-Inform.
Current raspberry prices vary between RUB 150-220/kg (USD 2.80-4.09/kg), an increase of just 15% year-on-year.
Growers also report of no delays in the start of the campaign despite rather long spring.
At the same time, it should be noted that current prices of domestic raspberries in the USD equivalent are 30% lower than registered a year before.
