Russia: slight decrease in grape imports in 2012/13

 Russia imported 393,000 tons of grapes in the season 2012/13, a decrease of 3% from the previous season, according to the official statistics. For comparison, imports in the season 2011/12 reached 403,000 tons, the highest result over the past 5 seasons.

Russia's grape imports have been relatively stable for the fourth season in a row with the peak registered in September-October. Turkey, Uzbekistan, Chile, Moldova and Peru are the largest exporters of grapes to Russia.
