Current prices of Idared apples vary between 0.14-0.19 euro/kg in Poland, a decrease of 50% year-on-year and the lowest level over the past 4 seasons.
Polish growers are seriously concerned about the current situation, as they have lost the major target market for their apples after Russia's ban on imports from the EU, which may lead to a further decrease in prices.
