Kazakhstan raises imports of Polish apples
Kazakhstan has raised imports of Polish apples in July 2014 compared with the same month of the previous season.
Kazakhstan's imports totaled 4,000 tons, an increase of a third year-on-year. Thus, Poland was the largest exporter of apples to Kazakhstan in July 2014 with the share of 58% in Kazakhstan's total imports.
It should also be noted that Kazakhstan may become one of the largest alternative export market for apples from the EU and Moldova under conditions of Russia's ban.
