Exports of Belarusian vegetables almost double over past 5 years

Exports of Belarusian vegetables have almost doubled in 2010-2014, according to Mr. Vladimir Grakun, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus.

The export volumes have grown from 130,000 tons to 250,000 tons over the past five years. A significant increase is also registered in commercial vegetable production (from 443,000 tons to 569,000 tons), while areas under vegetables have gone down from 20,000 ha to 12,000 ha in Belarus.
