Dutch and Italian technologies of long-term fruit and vegetable storage are accessible in Ukraine now

The organizers of the third international conference "Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine 2006. Open market" inform that this year the technologies of rapid cooling and long-term storage of fruits and vegetables are probably of the greatest interest to the produce market players. Dozens of companies interested in the mentioned technologies contact the experts of the Agricultural Marketing Project and "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal.

These technologies are relatively new for Ukraine. To provide produce business players with the chance to better understand the essence of these technologies, the organizers of the conference decided to dedicate a separate session to the issues of fruit and vegetable storage. As of today, we can say for sure the conference participants are likely to get a quite good understanding about Dutch technologies of fruit and vegetable storage adopted in Ukraine. The company Altracon B.V., Holland, confirmed the desire to present its experience of this issue. And, a known company Fruit Control Equipments, Italy, confirmed that its representatives are going to make a report on this topic. The company specializes on the most advanced technologies of long-time storage of fruits and vegetables. It implements projects on a turnkey basis in many world countries.

In addition to Italians and Dutchmen, Polish firms are also actively interested in the dynamically growing Ukrainian market of produce storages. In particular, Pawel Baranski, the Director of the company Chlodnie KA, Poland, is expected to speak in the conference. Ukrainian companies are showing a quite great interest to this event as well because they have accumulated some experience in this sphere in recent years. A very important fact is that the conference participants will get a practical manual on the technologies of cooling and storage of the produce commodities which highlights the international experience as well.

If you are willing to be familiar with the recent events on the market of modern produce storage technologies, and to know the detailed information about such advanced technologies as CA (Controlled Atmosphere), ULO (Ultra Low Oxygen), ILOS (Initial Low Oxygen Stress) and others, the experts recommend attending the main event of the produce business in 2006.
