Poland becomes the second biggest AJC producer in the world

According to Polish Association of Juice Producers, Poland became the world's second biggest producer of apple juice concentrate (AJC) in 2012 having left the USA behind. China still remains the global leader in AJC production.

Poland produced about 300,000 tonnes of AJC in 2012 with 80% of them intended for export (mainly to Germany).

It should also be noted that Poland has been steadily increasing AJC production year by year. For example, the country produced 250,000 tonnes of this product in 2011 that was 11% higher year-on-year.
