Prices of Idared apples up in Poland
Prices of Idared apples have been growing in Poland for the 2nd week in a row. Now they often reach 0.30 euro/kg against varying between 0.11-0.26 euro/kg a week before.
The Polish market participants connect a rise in prices with high demand for Idared apples in Russia, which imports them through third countries.
It should also be noted that the price growth has a positive effect on Polish growers taking into account the fact of record high stocks of Idared apples in Poland as of January 01: more than 300,000 tons, according to WAPA.
