Program of Berries of Ukraine-2014 Conference updated

The program of the 5th Anniversary International Conference “Berries of Ukraine-2014: Frozen Produce & Fresh Market” is updated daily and will be completed by April 18.

For the first time, the conference will be joined by Polish expert Tadeusz Kusibab, who will speak on in vitro technology of different berry plants production. This technology enables to obtain high-quality young disease-free plants for further use in nurseries and production plantations. In vitro micropropagation process will be covered in details, depending on crop, and on a step-by-step basis: from obtaining sterile cultures of needed varieties to their stabilization, propagation on a commercial scale, preparation for rooting and full acclimatization.

The presentation at the conference was also confirmed by Oleg Bosyi, leading Ukrainian berry market expert. Using his long-term experience, the expert will speak on the subject “Berry growing technologies: how to avoid most common mistakes during projects planning and implementation”.

The conference program will also be joined by other relevant presentations from the sector leaders.

The event is the only berry business one in Ukraine of an international format. For the present, their participation has been already confirmed by delegates from Russia, Moldova, Poland, the Netherlands, UK and Ukraine.

The conference will traditionally be held for two days. On the second day, May 23, the delegates will be able to take part in the business-tour to Podilya Ltd, the company that grows a wide variety of berry crops.

The event will involve about 200 delegates from 8-10 countries of the world.

The conference delegates can book accommodation in the hotel of Feride Plaza, which hosts the event. Accommodation costs are not included in the conference fee. More information is available here.
