In conjunction with Fresh Produce Ukraine 2013 Expo, the following events will take place: the 10th International Conference “Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine – 2013” and the 3rd International Trade Forum with supermarket managers from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. Fruit-Inform, the project specialized in the up-to-date information about the fruit and vegetable markets of Ukraine and other Eastern European countries, is the organizer of the conference, the trade forum and the co-organizer of Fresh Produce Ukraine 2013.
The conference is the most important event for the Eastern European fresh produce business and a traditional meeting place for leading producers, traders, supermarket managers, importers, exporters, processors, input and equipment suppliers.
The International Trade Forum enables producers and exporters to conduct direct negotiations with purchasing managers of the biggest retail chains of Ukraine, Russia, other CIS and Eastern European countries.
The fresh produce business is the most rapidly growing agricultural sector in Ukraine. High profitability of fruit, berry, vegetable and potato production, high capacity of the domestic market, availability of lands able to be irrigated, excellent opportunities for export of fresh and processed fruits and vegetables attract more and more investments in the sector year by year.
A half of the conference's target audience is represented by producers of fruits, berries, vegetables and potatoes. The rest are suppliers of post-harvest handling, storage and packing technologies, seed material, plant protection products and fertilizers as well as processing enterprises, wholesale trade representatives (importers, exporters, regional and national traders) and supermarket chains.
