Export duty for sunseeds will hardly be lifted - deputy of parliament

Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) will most probably not sanction elimination of the 17-percent export duty for sunseeds, a Deputy of Parliament and the Secretary of Farm Committee Mr. Yukhnovsky said in his presentation at the 2nd International Conference "Oilseed Industry of Ukraine: Current State, Prospects, Technologies".

He said this as conditioned by current stability in the oil-crushing industry and its positive performances: increase of production, budget deductions, improvement of the products quality, etc.

"Consumption of the oil and fat products has increased 30 percent", Yukhnovsky said.
