Leonid Kozachenko: Ukraine leads Europe and CIS in the pace of agriculture development
Ukraine leads Europe and CIS in the pace of agriculture development (by 10 percent in 2000), Vice Premier on AIC Questions Leonid Kozachenko announced during the opening of Ukrainian "Agroforum-2001" in Kiev on November 6.
According to L. Kozachenko's forecasts, Ukraine will keep the front position also in the current year. The major part of it, he said, is shared by the leading segment of agricultural production - private farm enterprises. Along with other private land owners farmers ensure two-thirds of total agricultural production.
