Poland: further decrease in apple prices
The Polish market participants say of a decrease in prices of fresh apples in the country. For the present, apples are offered at 0.21-0.53 euro/kg, while in the second half of February prices varied between 0.24-0.58 euro/kg. In such a way, apples have already become 10-12% less expensive.
Sellers had to reduce prices (especially for Idared, Champion and Gala varieties) due to lower demand for Polish apples in Russia.
