Azerbaijan boosts fresh persimmon exports
Fresh persimmon exports from Azerbaijan amounted to $90.8 mln by value in 2017, a 32% rise against the last year’s figures, reports Kazakh Zerno.
According to the Azerbaijani government, the volumes of exported produce totaled 118,304 tons, which was 25% more compared to the previous year.
Russia was the key market for Azerbaijani persimmons with 102,579 tons valued at $84.8, marking 24% and 30% in volume and value terms respectfully. Hence, the country accounted for 87% of fresh persimmon exports from Azerbaijan in 2017.
