Leasing land easier

The VR plans to review on Feb. 6th the draft law on changing the law on Land Leasing. This upcoming draft was designed by the VR Commission on issues of agrarian policy and land transactions.

The said draft suggests that the article #13 (Land Leasing Contract Stipulations), where it is stipulated that land leasing contract shall be notarized within the county of its location, must be amended with the following:

- for 5 years - if one of the parties chooses this as an option

- for more than 5 years - mandatory
