A cattle disease case registered in Chernigov Oblast of Ukraine
Chernigov Regional Laboratory for Veterinary Medicine (north of Ukraine) has confirmed a case of a cow getting sick with rabies in Korop Raion of the region. The ill animal has been slaughtered and burnt, press-service of Ukraine's Ministry for Emergency Situations informed.
The preliminary cause of the sickness is reported to have been a contact of the cattle with wild animals. Three persons who were in contact with the sick cow have been taken into medical observation.
