Radish and red beets grew expensive in Kyiv

According to the information provided by Alexander Skrebets, Price Monitoring Specialist of Agricultural Marketing Project, today the prices on radish and red beets continued to grow on Kyiv wholesale market "Farmer".

The average price on radish has risen on another USD $ 0.01 up to USD 1.18/kg; less than a week ago the average price on this commodity was USD $ 0.99/kg. At the same time, in the regions of mass production (for example on the wholesale market "Kopani" in Kherson oblast) radish has cheapened today down to USD $ 0.75/kg. The demand on radish in Kyiv is stable and balanced in the whole.

There are very few supplies of red beets on Kyiv wholesale market, so the price on this commodity is growing. The major parties of red beets were supplied today on USD $ 0.37-0.39/kg, that is almost 20% higher than yesterday. A week ago this commodity was supplied on USD $ 0.24/kg.
