Yushchenko appointed Yuri Melnyk as Deputy Prime Minister for Agriculture

The Action Ukraine Report (www.ArtUkraine.com) with reference to Ukrainian News Agency informed that President Viktor Yuschenko had appointed Yurii Melnyk as Deputy Prime Minister responsible for supervision of agrarian-industrial complex.

This was disclosed by the Cabinet of Minister's press service, which noted that on the Cabinet's meeting that was taking place on October 5, with the participation of the President, Prime Minister Yurii Yekhanurov presented Melnyk to the Cabinet's members.

Earlier Melnyk was Deputy Minister of Agrarian-Industrial Complex in the Yanukovych's government from July 2003 to July 2005.
