Fresh Parliament to regulate Ukrainian agrimarkets

Interfax-Ukraine reported that the AIC Ministry would push the issue of creating legislative basis to regulate agricultural commodities market to the freshly elected Parliament.

The State Secretary of AIC Ministry Mr. Ryzhouk, the law on grain and grain market shall be passed and mechanisms for sugar market functioning shall be improved.

Moreover, the Ministry intends to propose the Parliament certain draft laws to fully implement Land Code provisions i.e. land evaluation, land resources security, land mortgage.

Some laws passed as early as 1992-1994 shall be changed accordingly as present situation demands.

Ryzhouk said that all draft laws submitted to the previous VR session should be recalled. All of them shall be reviewed, amended before resubmission.
