APK-Inform reported that AIC Ministry revealed figures where Ukrainian farmers purchased as of Apr 12th some 466,000 MT of mineral fertilizers or 72% of required thus leading the previous figures behind by 21,300 MT.
Ukraine needs 19,200 MT of pesticides worth US $283 mn to take care of the crop 2002.
Only 8,300 MT of chemicals have been delivered to the farmer already. Another 1,800 MT remain available on the chemical plants of Ukraine. Import contracts shall bring in country additional 18,700 MT of chemicals.
