Ukrainian position on US poultry imports remains firm

APK-Inform correspondents reported that Ukraine would not follow Russia in lifting the ban on poultry imports from US as was said by the AIC Ministry State Secretary Serhiy Ryzhouk.

According to him, "there is no reason to revise this issue any time soon." And this is "not just the point of view of AIC ministry but a pure logic."

He also stated that past year Ukraine increased poultry production figures by 1.7 times and this year shall twofold the said production. The AIC ministry also does not see technological necessity to change any veterinarian specifications in terms of poultry feeding ration.

Russia, Ryzhouk said, has "its vision of such issues, its legislation, position, outputs and consumption, production needs". "Thus, we cannot take Russia as an example".
