Chemical plants teaming with government

UNIAN reported that a Memorandum of cooperation between domestic fertilizer and chemical producers. Has been signed by the Premier Anatoliy Kinakh as of Apr 25th.

Chemical plants encompass Stirol, Azot (Cherkasy), DniproAzot, RivneAzot, SumyKhimProm, and Titan State JSC.

According to the document, the Cabinet should encourage: competitiveness of domestic mineral fertilizers through formulation of efficient natural gas market; functioning of efficient fertilizer market through subsidizing loans for input producers via state budget; functioning of efficient chemical market through subsidizing loans for input producers via state budget; special measures to protect domestic producers from mass imports of mineral fertilizers; VAT refund for exports of such inputs.

In their turn domestic producers should fill the market sufficiently according to domestic needs and maintain prices at level acceptable for the farmer notwithstanding world market situation, pay all taxes due and overdue, pay salaries timely and look forward to increase salaries.

The Cherkasy Azot supervising council head Borys Raikov signed the above document along with the Premier.
