Sumy news agency Dankor reported that the largest butter producer Romny Diary Plant ended the previous year with a net profit worth US $434,000 where sales turnover equaled US $1.6mn showing almost US $400,000 more than a year ago in 2000.
This plant is the Ukraine's largest butter producer manufacturing 3% of the country's total power milk production.
Products made in Romny travel around large part of Europe reaching far-away Holland and neighboring Russia.
