Russia. Government commission recommended to increase customs duties for butter and margarine

As of July 1, 2002 Russian Government Commission on Foreign Trade Protection and Custom Policy recommended increasing customs duties for butter and margarine to 20% from current 15%. According to German Gref, Minister of Economic Development, new import duty rates will be put in force in a month after corresponding government regulation issue and will be valid until the end of the year.
