"Sady Pridonya" opened new baby-food production plant
The official opening ceremony of fruit&vegetable processing and baby-food production plant has been conducted today on the territory of production complex of the National Food Group "Sady Pridonya".
Italian company supplied technological equipment for new production capacity. The plant has been constructed in record terms, just during four months. The project cost more than RUR 250 mln., the Press-Service of Volgogradskaya Regional Administration informed the journalist of IA VolgogradNews.ru.
New technological line is unique due to the technology of cold production of puree - it let the producers preserve beneficial vitamins and useful properties of the final product. Also, a large spectrum of agricultural products will be processed here (pumpkin, carrot, squash, quince, plum, sour cherry, etc.). Aseptic packs of puree, 200 g each, preserve high quality of the product.
Andrey Samokhin, the President of Opened JSC "Sady Pridonya", says that new production capacity let them seasonally process fruits and vegetables, grown by the local agricultural producers. They will be able to manufacture 150 tons/day and 35,000 tons/year of high-quality, ecologically safe baby food.
