Russia predicts unbeneficial conditions in WTO for Ukraine
Ukraine may enter World Trade Organization (WTO) on the unbeneficial terms.
Alexey Kudrin, Vice Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance of Russian Federation, expressed this opinion on air of the First Channel, RBC-Ukraine informs.
"On the wave of politic relations with the West Ukraine is eager to enter WTO faster than Russia; the country may enter the organization on the unbeneficial terms", he said.
To the Minister's opinion, Russia will enter WTO on the terms which provide steadiness to the country economics. The Minister emphasized that Russia's entrance to WTO is a necessary issue.
Earlier the Minister informed that the working group on Russia's entrance to WTO will finish the work on the report about system issues in the nearest 1-2 months. "This fact will mean a new stage of negotiations, which brings the long marathon of Russia's entrance to WTO to the final stage", A. Kudrin observed.
According to Julia Timoshenko, Prime Minister, Ukraine will enter WTO as soon as on the 7th of February. However, the experts observe that primarily milk, sugar and vegetables will increase in price on Ukrainian market because of the country's entrance to WTO.
