Early December Kyiv will be in the spotlight of Eastern European produce business

In a month for the second time already Kyiv will be in the spotlight of Eastern European produce business. Early December 2005 the hugest companies working in vegetable, fruit and berry production, processing and trade business will come to the capital of Ukraine. Professional community will be extended by input suppliers providing PHH equipment (cleaning, grading, peeling machinery, etc), facilities for packing, storing and processing. Seed companies, suppliers of plant protection assets, agricultural machinery and equipment for vegetable, fruit and berry production will also participate in the event.

Why should top managers of the largest produce companies gather together? A serious reason for it will be the second international conference "Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine 2005" to be held jointly with the international produce exhibition in the National Complex Expocenter of Ukraine, Kyiv, on December 5th-7th 2005.

This year the leaders of produce business are going to discuss strategic perspectives for fruit and vegetable business development in Ukraine, to summarize the impact of complicated season 2005 and properly prepare to the next production year. Will canneries be able to stand growing competition from the side of foreign suppliers, when import taxes on canned produce are decreased abruptly? Can Ukrainian farmers compete successfully Polish and Turkish producers?

To make the conference program interesting to the maximum, the organizers invited to speak on the event a number of leading experts of the produce business from USA, Poland, Russia, Moldova, Germany, Sweden and Ukraine. The conference initiators guarantee valuable reports to be made by world known experts; handout materials will provide the participants with various exclusive information. Please note that it is possible to sign in for participation in the conference on Agricultural Marketing Project web-site.
