Raspberry and blackberry production in Ukraine, a new prospect in berry business

The program of the 4th International Conference “Berries of Ukraine – 2013: Frozen Produce & Fresh Market” (May 16-17, 2013, Mykolaiv, Ukraine) is updated. As it was previously announced, current conference program will include a wide range of master classes on new berry production technologies in Ukraine.

The subject “Modern approaches to raspberry and blackberry growing” will be covered by a well-known British expert – Jeremy Darby, kindly invited by Fruit Project, Ukraine.

The information on the Ukrainian table grape production will by presented by a leading expert of the sector – Vladimir Yarmilka. His presentation will also announce a new grape project in Ukraine.

Sergey Velichko, Head of Polunica.com.ua Project, will present new technologies of strawberry cultivation in plastic greenhouses, tunnels and open fields.

The conference program full of practical presentations guarantees a high number of growers attending the event. Just within a week of registration, the conference organizers received more than ten application forms from Ukrainian farms: Vidrodzhennya, Chistyi Produkt-S, Izyumskoye, Gutsol and many others.

Altogether, the conference will be attended by about 200 delegates from 8-10 countries of the world.

The conference is organized by Fruit-Inform, the only independent fruit and vegetable business analytical project in Ukraine, and Polunica.com.ua. The event is also supported by Association of Wholesale Markets of Ukraine.
