Leading fruit tree nursery of Ukraine to welcome participants of the largest in the CIS apple conference!

Artemivsk Nursery Experimental Station, the co-organizer of the 3rd International Conference “Apple Business of Ukraine & Russia – 2013” (August 15-16, 2013, Donetsk, Ukraine), invites all participants of the event to take part in the business-tour on the second conference day.

Artemivsk Nursery Experimental Station is the leading supplier of fruit trees, berry and ornamental plants in the Eastern Europe with unique experience gained during many years of sector activities. According to Fruit-Inform's independent survey, this fruit tree nursery has ranked first among suppliers of fruit trees in the past three years.

“Thanks to use of a set of modern technologies, our plants come into bearing in 1-2 years after planting in an orchard”, says Yevgeniy Rassokha, Director of Artemivsk Nursery Experimental Station, Master of Agriculture. “In our activities, we do our best to take into account growers' requirements to trees for intensive orchards and market needs in horticulture products. It is market requirements that directly influence introduction of a particular fruit crop, rootstock or variety into production structure”.

During the business-tour, the conference participants will be able to visit Artemivsk Nursery, see and discuss the following subjects:

Besides apples, Artemivsk Nursery deals with growing trees and plants of pears, sweet cherries on dwarf rootstocks, sour cherries, peaches, strawberries, currants, roses, other crops and is a rather large supplier of strawberries for fresh market. In such a way, all business-tour participants will be able to get acquainted with both nursery activities of the enterprise and its commercial production of different fruit crops.

Pay your attention that the business-tour will be organized exclusively for the participants of the first conference day, when Yevgeniy Rassokha will speak on approaches to choosing trees during laying out an intensive apple orchard. An informative program of the first conference day (August 15) will also include all urgent subjects for the apple business of Ukraine and Russia: from production forecasts, marketing and exports to apple growing, storage, handling and packaging technologies.
