Three weeks left before the start of most important Eastern European apple business event

The 3rd International Conference “Apple Business of Ukraine & Russia – 2013”, the only professional event for the Eastern European apple sector, is to start its work in three weeks, August 15, the conference-hall of Shakhtar Plaza Hotel, Donetsk, Ukraine.

In addition to previously registered participants, the list of delegates was expanded with the following companies: Vatal, Ukrainian Vegetable Company, Gilass, EFT, Fozzy Group, Sam+ (Ukraine); Invest Business (Russia); Unitec (Italy); Aweta, DLV Plant (the Netherlands) and many others. Altogether, the conference will be attended by more than 150 delegates from 10-13 countries of the world.

Among the novelties of the conference sessional program, we may mention the comparative analysis of apple business investment projects in Ukraine and the Netherlands (Nico de Groot, DLV Plant, the Netherlands), overview of the situation with sales of imported and domestic apples in supermarket chains (Fedor Andreytsov, Fozzy Group, Ukraine) as well as a wide session on apple growing technologies. The program traditionally includes other key questions for the apple business: global production forecast, Ukrainian and Russian market outlook, produce handling and packaging, trade and marketing.

The practical part of the event is scheduled for August 16 within the business-tour to Artemivsk Nursery Experimental Station. The delegates will be able to meet with the nursery's managers and specialists in person, get their opinion on varieties, technologies and horticulture trends in Ukraine and Eastern Europe as well as approaches to apple business.

Pay your attention that applications for participation are accepted until August 9!
