Detailed analysis of the highbush blueberry market in Ukraine, Russia and Belarus to be available after August 25
Highbush blueberries have consolidated a status of the most expensive berry crop in the Eastern Europe, which production has reached industrial levels and continues to grow in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. According to Fruit-Inform, it is these countries that have shown the most intensive increase in areas under blueberries, and this trend will remain in effect in the nearest years.

Growers from the Eastern Europe can use any transportation method (inclusive of air carriage) to ship their blueberries thanks to their high transportability and rather attractive prices over the past few years. The fact has already been confirmed by real examples of blueberry air shipments from Ukraine to the Middle East and South-East Asia.
