Information for fruit and vegetables business in CIS
Volume of gross agricultural product increased by 9.1 percent for 10 months of 2001 year
During 10 months of 2001 year volume of gross agricultural product increased by 9.1 percent comparing with the same period of the previous year, and producing of food and processing industry products increased by 19.8 percent, Vice-Prime-Minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozachenko reported.
As Leonid Kozachenko pointed out during last 2 years gross agricultural production increased by 25 percent, while food and processing industries increased producing more than by 50 percent. None of the European countries has such paces, particularly CIS.
