Attractive sectors for private capital

UkrInform reported that at a press conference being the part of CNFA annual meeting in Kyiv Apr 8th Ukrainian Vice-Premier Kozachenko declared optimistic future of Ukrainian agricultural production, which should achieve a steady development within the next couple of years.

The basis for such optimistic note is the successful first stage of land reform. Especially lately AIC of Ukraine became more attractive than ever. Private capital influx into AIC grew. Statistically, in 2001 state investments into the sector were US $10.2 mill whereas private capital was invested in the amount equal US $235 mill.

Kozachenko predicts that commercial banks will increase the amounts of loans for AIC.
