Foggy insurances mandatory cover crops
APK-Inform reported that experts from Ukrainian Agribusiness Development Project revelaed information stating that introduction of mandatory crop insurance is unclear for farmers. According to them foggy directions produced figures where 50% of respondents belive that crop insurance is mandatory, another 44% belive it is not mandatory, and the balance 6% have no idea what this all is.
Along with this crop insurance preferences were highlighted by respondents.30%of respondents would prefer to insure their crop against natural hazards, 16% would prefer to insure their crop in order to obtain a loan. Only 7% believe they should get insured against fire and livestock disease.
