UkrInform reported that President Kuchma visited Kherson Oblast meeting top managers and discussing many burning issues as of May 24. One of such is insufficient supply of combine harvesters to take care of the crop 2002 in the Oblast.
The Oblast has only 1,600 combines available with 4,500 units needed to timely harvest the crop.
