Former Director of "Sandora" chaired the main competitor company

Vitmark Ukraine company (TM Jaffa) informed "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly, Igor Landa, the new top-manager of the company was introduced on the 15th of January. Mr. Landa has been chairing "Sandora" company for 9 years. "Sandora" is the leader of juice market of Ukraine and the main competitor of "Vitmark-Ukraine".

We'd like to remind that in 2007 "Sandora" company was fully purchased by PepsiCo, American giant of alcohol-free beverage industry.

To the opinion of the representatives of Vitmark company, the recent appointments in the management prove that this juice holding is likely to consolidate its position on the national and foreign markets of juices and juice-containing drinks this year. Igor Landa is one of the most successful top managers of Ukraine 2007 according to "Companion" journal rating. Starting from mid January, he will occupy the position of Executive Director of "Vitmark-Ukraine" company. In December 2007 Igor Topchiy occupied the position of Commercial Director of Vitmark company; this person is a former Sales Director of Ukrainian largest alcohol distributor - trade house "Megapolis" (TM "Khortitsa"). Mr. Topchiy supervises distribution and marketing spheres of the company.

The company states that a highly professional team of Vitmark was strengthened by new top managers; together they form a powerful resource for the achievement of the main goal of the company - the first place on the market of juices, nectars and beverages of Ukraine. The human resources management is focused on the active involvement of Ukrainian best managers with high leader ambitions to the team of "Vitmark-Ukraine".

Note: "Vitmark-Ukraine" is one of the largest Ukrainian producers of juices, nectars, juice-containing drinks, baby food, puree and concentrated semi-ready products (ТМ "Jaffa", "Odesa baby food factory", "Sokovyta", "Chudo Chado"). The company was founded in 1994. According to the company's estimations, "Vitmark" holding occupies around 25% of juice, nectar and beverage market of Ukraine. The turnover of the company amounted to UAH 724 mln. ($144.8 mln) in 2007.
