A. Kinah: The government will try to prevent sharp price fluctuations at the grain market

This year sharp price fluctuations, especially on grain, should be prevented, and in the nearest future the government will actively work on this question. Prime Minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Kinakh announced about this during a government meeting on questions of crediting agricultural producers held on August 27.

A. Kinakh pointed out that this year Ukraine has "a pretty good crop" - 37 million tons excluding household plots and late grains. The Premier pointed out that now we're facing a situation of "enormous number of offers with pretty misbalanced demand", which may lead to sharp price fluctuations at the grain market.

A. Kinakh announced that in the nearest future i.e. during August-September, the government will make a decision on efficient work on this problem with State Committee on Material Reserves, State Joint-Stock Company "Khlib Ukrainy", Ukrainian Cooperative Union, and also a bank system. This work will be directed for decrease of pressure of numerous offers and low demand on formation of prices at the grain market.

A. Kinakh views this work as a part of actions, which provide a possibility of more efficient crediting of agricultural producers under economical and market conditions.
