Seminar "Development of Vegetable Production in Ukraine; Experience of Production and Marketing of Holland Selection Vegetable Crops"
The company "Nunhems Ukraine" conducted in its central office workshop on topic "Development of Vegetable Production in Ukraine; the Experience of Production and Marketing of Holland Selection Vegetable Crops". The event took place on April the 6th and was designated for AMP specialists - so the representatives of Kyiv central office Yuriy Sologub and Andriy Andryushko as well as 12 regional AMP experts in agritechnologies and marketing participated in it. Moreover, of total 20 persons working in the seminar six were the farmers from all AMP target oblasts.
Sergiy Yefimkin, general director of "Nunhems Ukraine" company, informed the participants of the seminar about the history of company development, its achievements in Ukraine, as well as plans of the company for future.
Company specialists - Sergiy Reznichenko, Bogdan Vinnichuk, Igor Zavadskiy, Volodymyr Lykholay shared practical experience of production and marketing of Holland selection vegetable crops. They also made informative presentations about the assortment, market development prospects, marketing of cornichon cucumber, determinate and indeterminate tomato varieties, onion, root crops, lettuce and cucurbits crops.
It is important to highlight the fact that during the seminar much attention was paid exactly to effective vegetable marketing, as it is one of the most important conditions of the successful farming and maximum profits.
In the whole the seminar was organized and conducted on a high level that is proved by numerous questions from farmers and AMP specialists, followed by lively discussion and exchange of experience concerning vegetable production in different ground and climatic zones. Questions under consideration are rather topical, also a wide range of farmers need the presented information - so an agreement was reached to conduct such seminars and field days in the regions jointly by Nunhems company and Agricultural Marketing Project.
