Round tables - sales of strawberry, cabbage, berries in Odesa
Odesa Agricultural Marketing Project (AMP) office specialists conducted on March the 29th 2004 a meeting with farmers engaged in production of early cabbage and strawberry. The questions concerning sales of early commodities to wholesale company were discussed during this meeting. The meeting on the same topic is planned to be conducted on April the 12th 2004 with the farmers of southern part of Odesa oblast (Izmail, Belgorod-Dnistrovskiy, Kiliya rayons). The problems of commodity sales to processors and wholesalers will be under consideration. During these meetings various buyers of fruit and vegetable commodities will deliver to farmers the basic requirements to the quality, packing and quantity of the commodity - according to the aim of these round tables. At the same time buyer have the opportunity to solve the problem of supply, signing the contract on commodity production.
